Meet Jean Roof
Ms. Roof received her J.D, with highest honors, from the University of Tulsa College of Law in May 2016, where she served as the Managing Editor of the Tulsa Law Review and earned Order of the Curule Chair honors. She participated as a student attorney in the Immigration Rights Project. In recognition of her work with that Project, Ms. Roof received the Oklahoma Bar Association Litigation Award, which is conferred on the most outstanding student in advocacy skills.
Following law school, Ms. Roof worked as an associate attorney for Mr. Jackson for several years, where she focused primarily on business and commercial litigation. She recently rejoined Mr. Jackson’s firm as a partner after working as a Chief Civil Deputy County Attorney for three and one-half years. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge in governmental affairs, in addition to her extensive prior commercial litigation experience.
In her free time, Ms. Roof enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and dog; cooking; and baking.
